Bagno di Romagna is famous not only for its unique thermal baths, but also for its great Natural Heritage, which can be enjoyed thanks to a dense network of medium and long hiking trails: a few years ago , 4 “short” trails were added , adding to the uniqueness of its natural beauty.
Each trail has its own feature and can be enjoyed at a “slow pace”. Every moment gives a feeling of physical well-being, as your body and soul will be in perfect harmony.

Therefore, to fully implement the Latin saying “mens sana in corpore sano,” the 3 Thermal Baths together with Esploramontagne have decided to create these trails to add to the wellness tourism offer and expand the possibilities of entertainment for their guests. These paths promote the achievement of physical and mental well-being through a dynamic and fun activity.
The trails, which are fully marked, can be enjoyed either on your own or with the help of an experienced hiking guide. Every week in the warm season, the 3 Thermal Baths, in collaboration with Esploramontagne, offer their guests a walk along one of these trails.

Il Bosco del Benessere
It is the first trail designed by Esploramontagne commissioned by 3 Terme. Inaugurated in 2022, the trail aims to bring you in touch with nature by allowing you to conteplate it in a new and harmonious way. The plants invite you to embrace them, the stream to listen to its gentle flow... Sensations that connect us with our soul in a powerful way, rejuvenating it and giving it a feeling of peace and serenity. In each stage you will experience moments of reflection. The hollow of tranquility, towards the end of the path, will give you the opportunity to process your inner journey, in order to release the tension of the daily life and thus be able to start again full of energy with a renewed spirit and a lot of desire to get going again.

A Stroll Around Bagno di Romagna
Inaugurated in 2023, it is a classic hiking trail in the areas surrounding Bagno di Romagna, in search of beautiful spots and special features that can make the path of the wayfarer more special. The route is not difficult. In order to fully enjoy it, it must be tackled with calm and awareness; walking through a coniferous forest makes the walk even more enjoyable, as you will feel the faint scent of resin.
A pleasant walk for everyone that, even though it does not take you too far from the village, will make you enjoy unexpected and enchanting natural landscapes that will surely mesmerize you. A great way to unwind from the everyday stress.

La Panoramica
This trail is new for the summer of 2024 and shares the first section with the Sentiero degli Gnomi (Gnome Trail). After this stretch, you will walk along a beautiful mule track and enjoy pleasant views of Bagno di Romagna from above, reaching a space equipped for a break. After a steep ascent with steps, you reach the newly installed cross. This feature has been restored where one of the three original “crocine” (small crosses) of Bagno, erected to bless and protect the village, once stood.
Going up further , the view is spectacular, both over the village and the surrounding mountain ranges, including a small portion of the “Apennine ridge.” A wide dirt road circles around the ruins of Pian Baserca (or Pian Basilica) and connects with the other dirt road coming from Roccaccia to take us back to the village.

Il Sentiero Degli Gnomi (The Gnome Trail)
Designed in 2001 right near the town of Bagno di Romagna as a “nature and fantasy trail,” it is an enchanted place, surrounded by lush nature. It is a very pleasant place where you can enjoy a walk even in the hottest summer weather. Always magical in every season, it even becomes fascinating and mysterious when, in winter, it is covered by a white blanket of snow. Everything here is about its incredible and curious inhabitants, the gnomes, the magical creatures that are said to have actually been spotted in our woods.
The trail features cute gnome villages and includes illustrations that narrate the lives of their inhabitants, their habits and passions, and, in particular, the magical story of “Gnome Bagnolo.”
The trail is NOT suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.
